Laravel Deployment & Git Workflow Automation

Overview

What we built

Designed and implemented a production-ready deployment workflow for a Laravel application hosted on Cloudways (DigitalOcean). Established separate Staging and Production environments, configured GitHub as the single source of truth, and implemented a branching and merging strategy that allowed continuous updates while preserving project-specific customizations without production conflicts. Key achievements: Configured Staging and Production deployment environments. Implemented a robust Git branching and merge workflow. Automated safe deployment through Git-based releases. Prevented merge conflicts and protected custom project modifications. Documented the deployment architecture and development workflow for future maintenance. Managed Laravel application deployment and server configuration on Cloudways.
